Struggling with weight has been an issue for me my whole life. I have tried every diet under the sun, and I could not drop any more pounds once I got to a certain weight. None of the mainstream diets worked to get me past this plateau. I am involved with a group of women, and one woman said that she just went on this new heart healthy low sodium diet. I thought it was silly, because I love salty foods more than sweet foods, and I am always buying heart healthy products. Turns out, I did as she said, and I went home and looked at the salt content on my favorite foods. Much to my surprise, none of the food snacks I ate were part of her low sodium diet plan. She said that she did away with table salt altogether and just uses sea salt on everything. So I embarked on this heart healthy low sodium diet thing. At first, I had to get rid of everything that was not heart healthy. It might say heart healthy on the package, but a lot of times it just refers to fat content. I am so happy with this low sodium diet, I don’t know what to do. Sea salt has replaced table salt in all my recipes. What’s more is that I’ve lost those extra pounds, and I thank a low sodium, heart healthy diet rich in earth sea salt to my success. I feel better and retain less water, too!
